Materials accepted include:
- Paint thinner/turpentine
- Pesticides including: fertilizers, herbicides, flea and tick products, fungicides, insecticides and rodentcides
- Undiluted pool chemicals
- Household cleaners
- Fluorescent bulbs
- Propane gas cylinders
- Mercury thermometers/thermostats
- Household batteries (non-rechargeable)
- Aerosols
- Automotive brake fluid/used motor oil filters (no other automotive fluids will be accepted)
Please note that Paint is not being accepted at this event. Options for disposing of paint include:
- Drying the paint out with cat litter and placing the cans with your household garbage (lids off)
- Centennial High School Paint Recycling Event on February 5 - please call the school for details
- Visit www.earth911.org for companies that accept paint
The Environmental Quality Company will be handling and disposing of the materials. Materials cannot be dropped off prior to the event.
Registration will be open until February 11 at 5 p.m. Completed forms should be completed online, returned to Janet Liberman at jliberman@roswellgov.com or faxed to 770-641-3750.
