The cities of Roswell and Milton are offering residents a bulky trash amnesty collection (residents of Johns Creek & Sandy Springs should check with Keep North Fulton Beautiful for an event in their area). On Saturday, June 8th from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm, residents of these cities can bring items to the City of Roswell Public Works Division at 1810 Hembree Road. (Proof of residency will be required - utility bills preferred. Roswell residents with window decal need no other form of identification).
Some of the items that will be accepted are:
- Tires - must be off the rim, automobile tires only; limit four per car
- Sofa, tables, chairs
- Refrigerators, washers, dryers
- Televisions, electronics
- Deactivated cell phones
The following items will not be accepted:
- household hazardous waste
- any fluids including motor oil and anti-freeze
- household batteries
- construction and demolition materials
- yard waste
Materials will only be accepted at the site on the day of the event between the hours of 8:00 am and noon. Please note the line will be cut off at noon. Due to the popularity of this event, delays at the drop-off point are expected.
